Operations Executive – Air Freight

About the role

The Operations Executive – Air Freight will oversee end‑to‑end air import and export processes, ensuring shipments are executed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with regulations. This position acts as the central hub between customers, airlines, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver seamless cargo movement and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete A‑Z process for air import and export shipments, including airway bill preparation and documentation.
• Coordinate cargo build‑up, tendering, and handover to airlines within required timelines.
• Monitor shipment milestones, resolve operational issues, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide timely, customer‑focused communication and shipment updates to all stakeholders.
• Track subcontractor performance, maintain issue logs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare KPI dashboards, monthly performance reports, and corrective action reports as needed.
• Monitor operational materials, collaborate with transport and vendor teams, and support vendor performance monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to company ethics, export controls, sanctions, anti‑corruption policies, and Philippine customs regulations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of air freight import and export operations.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal and external partners.
• Ability to monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements.
• Attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
