Onsite Manager for Café & Design Retail

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time onsite manager to run our café and design‑retail space in San Juan, Manila. You will learn to oversee the entire operation—from floor service to finances—and grow into a full operations manager.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain systems that ensure great service and smooth shifts.
• Keep the venue clean, organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Track inventory, flag issues and prepare reports.
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, discipline and compliance training.
• Control finances, procurement, expenses and menu costing.
• Manage menu recipes, quality control and cost analysis.
• Lead team huddles, drive operational improvements and report to owners.

Required profile

• 1–3 years experience in a team environment, preferably food & beverage, hospitality or a creative setting.
• Observant of how operations run, organized and calm under pressure.
• Leads by example without needing a formal title.

Required skills

• Comfortable learning and using POS systems.
• Cash handling and basic financial reporting.
• Inventory management and supplier coordination.
• Staff scheduling and labour‑cost planning.
• Food safety compliance knowledge.
• Tech‑literate and able to pick up new tools quickly.
