Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

The Occupational Health Nurse provides on‑site nursing care and health services to employees, supporting the company’s occupational safety and wellness programs. This role ensures prompt medical response, maintains accurate health records, and collaborates with the occupational health physician and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑aid, basic nursing care, and vital‑sign monitoring to employees and visitors.
• Conduct initial assessments, refer to the occupational health physician or external providers as needed, and manage workplace injuries and occupational illnesses.
• Assist with annual physical examinations, pre‑employment medical checks, health surveillance, vaccination, and wellness initiatives.
• Provide immediate medical assistance during accidents, maintain emergency supplies, and participate in drills and incident reviews.
• Maintain confidential employee medical records, manage medication and supply inventories, and prepare regular health reports.
• Participate in workplace inspections, risk assessments, and accident investigations, recommending health‑related controls.
• Support return‑to‑work monitoring, enforce medical restrictions, and ensure follow‑up compliance.
• Coordinate closely with the occupational health physician, HR, safety teams, and supervisors on health‑related matters.
