Non-Print Librarian for Senior High School

About the role

The Non-Print Librarian will lead the Instructional Technology Center (ITC) of the senior high school, ensuring that digital and non‑print resources support academic, formation and co‑curricular programs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Educational Media Center (EMC) Coordinator in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating ITC programs, resources and services.
• Identify and recommend audio‑visual instructional materials and equipment, and prepare the annual ITC budget.
• Monitor budgetary expenditures for non‑print materials, supplies and equipment and ensure compliance with approved limits.
• Communicate new acquisitions, policies and procedures through onsite displays and online platforms.
• Promote media literacy and provide training on information literacy and digital citizenship for faculty, staff and students.
• Maintain accurate records, classify and catalogue non‑print resources, and manage the online digital repository.
• Supervise and evaluate ITC staff and perform other office‑related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Licensed Librarian with a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in a school or educational media setting.
• Ability to assume supervisory responsibilities for the Instructional Technology Center.
• Willingness to teach information literacy and digital citizenship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
