National Project Officer – Emergency Response (Roster)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is establishing a roster of qualified National Project Officers to support surge staffing during disasters, emergencies and humanitarian operations in the Philippines. This position is roster‑only, meaning there is no guaranteed start date; members will be mobilised only when operational needs arise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide rapid project management support for emergency response activities, including shelter, WASH, cash‑based interventions, mental health, community mobilisation, information management and health.
• Coordinate with government, UN agencies, NGOs and other partners to ensure timely delivery of assistance.
• Prepare and submit situation reports, data analyses and documentation required for funding and operational oversight.
• Maintain readiness to deploy locally on short notice and complete onboarding procedures promptly.

Required profile

• Philippines‑based candidate with proven experience in humanitarian or emergency response projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multi‑stakeholder environments and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
• Willingness to be available for short‑notice deployments and to comply with all administrative requirements.
