National Migration Health Informatics Officer

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a National Migration Health Informatics Officer to lead the Software Solutions Team within its Migration Health Informatics (MHI) unit. Reporting to the Migration Health Informatics Manager and the Global HAP Coordinator, the officer will ensure the delivery of high‑quality health information systems that support migration health programmes across the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the activities and services of the Software Solutions Team, including domain‑expert review and advice.
• Conduct business analysis and verify software quality for health information systems.
• Oversee data management, training, and user support for MHI applications.
• Act as the business lead on medical information system projects.
• Represent IOM as the subject‑matter expert in technical discussions with external partners.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in health informatics, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience in managing software development or support teams, preferably in a health‑sector context.
• Proven ability to work under supervision while taking ownership of project deliverables.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
