National Data Analytics Officer

About the role

The National Data Analytics Officer will join the Migration Health Informatics (MHI) team to support the Health Assessment Programme (HAP) across IOM missions worldwide. Reporting to the Programme Coordinator and supervised by the Migration Health Informatics Manager, the officer will ensure high‑quality health data management, reporting and research.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the HAP Data Quality, Data Reporting and Research teams within the MHI unit.
• Implement and manage migration health data warehouses for statistical reporting, operational analysis, health profiling and indicator monitoring.
• Develop and maintain modern business intelligence solutions, dashboards and visualisations for IOM missions, partners and the public.
• Design data validation processes and oversee data quality control across all health datasets.
• Support health research activities, including data processing, analysis and report preparation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Sciences, Statistics, Social Sciences or related field with at least five years of relevant experience, or a university degree with seven years of experience.
• Professional certification in MS SQL and Power BI is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing large, complex databases and developing ETL procedures.
• Experience in health or migration health research and collaboration with government or international health agencies.
