About the role
The MRO Toolkeeper is responsible for managing the issuance, return, and maintenance of tools and equipment used in maintenance and check tasks. This role ensures tools are serviceable, calibrated, and properly documented.
Key responsibilities
- Issue tools/equipment to personnel, record transactions, and verify serviceability and calibration dates before release.
- Inspect returned tools for damage, require written reports for damaged items, and coordinate repair or replacement with Engineering.
- Maintain accurate records of tool calibration due dates, route tools for calibration, and update master tool lists.
- Ensure newly purchased tools are accompanied by appropriate manuals and catalogs, and return loaned tools to the warehouse promptly.
- Keep the tool room and workshops clean, secure, and organized, coordinating with other offices for proper ambient conditions.
Required profile
- Organized, meticulous, and detail‑oriented with high integrity.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- At least a 2‑year aviation‑related course and minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
