Mobile Developer (Cross-Platform | Microsoft Stack)

About the role

Join a dynamic team that is modernising a long‑standing enterprise mobile application used across Australia’s building certification industry. As a Mobile Developer you will help migrate an existing Objective‑C iPad app to a modern, maintainable cross‑platform solution, primarily using .NET MAUI.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and understand the current Objective‑C iPad application to support migration efforts.
• Design, develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile apps for iOS, iPadOS, Android and Windows using .NET MAUI (or a comparable framework).
• Implement new features while preserving existing business workflows.
• Integrate PDF viewing, annotation, image markup and document‑management capabilities.
• Enhance UI/UX for an intuitive user experience across devices.
• Work with third‑party component libraries such as Syncfusion.
• Collaborate with senior developers to debug, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Perform multi‑device testing to ensure reliability and performance.
• Use GitHub for version control and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional mobile application development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• .NET MAUI (preferred) or Xamarin, React Native, Flutter.
• C# and .NET development.
• Experience with Apple development tools (Xcode, iOS/iPadOS).
• Proficiency in Objective‑C (nice to have).
• Git version control.
• Syncfusion controls, especially PDF Viewer/Editor.
• Knowledge of Azure, REST API integration and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools.
