Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to lead legal research efforts for a global software leader. In this fully remote position you will translate complex legal and regulatory frameworks into actionable technical solutions that support product development and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and summarize statutes, regulations, and case law relevant to product decisions.
• Design and build technical frameworks and automation tools for legal research workflows.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines that ensure legal compliance throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience in regulatory analysis and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to convert legal concepts into clear technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
