Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to lead legal research initiatives for a global software development leader. The role is fully remote and focuses on analyzing complex legal frameworks and building technical solutions that ensure product compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Develop technical frameworks and tools that automate legal research processes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Draft technical documentation and guidelines for legal compliance in product development.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience in legal research methodologies and regulatory analysis.
• Ability to translate legal concepts into clear technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
