About the role

The Medical Technologist will perform laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accurate results and patient safety within The Medical City Clinic located at Robinsons Magnolia. This position involves direct interaction with patients, handling specimens, and maintaining compliance with health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Explain laboratory procedures to patients and ensure their comfort before and after sample collection.
• Check specimens for condition, acceptability, and appropriateness for testing.
• Examine collected samples, identify abnormalities, and guarantee the accuracy of test results.
• Adhere to Department of Health (DOH) regulatory requirements.
• Document patient data through charting and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor inventory of medical supplies and ensure availability.
• Submit monthly census reports and perform other assigned tasks.
