Medical Information Specialist III (Remote)

About the role

The Medical Information Specialist III provides virtual and telephonic support to patients, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders, delivering accurate drug and medical device information while ensuring compliance with U.S. and Philippine regulations. This remote position acts as a subject‑matter expert, handling complex inquiries and supporting patient assistance programs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain quality and productivity standards, following scripts, guidelines and SOPs.
• Identify, document and escalate information requests, adverse events, product quality complaints and other reportable items in line with FDA, HIPAA and Philippine privacy regulations.
• Conduct compliance calls for clinical trial volunteers and enroll participants in educational and patient support programs.
• Collect demographic and disposition data for product, sample and literature fulfillment activities.
• Provide high‑quality responses to complex medical inquiries using approved reference materials.
• Ensure accurate entry of program‑specific information into designated databases and systems.
• Participate in quality monitoring, audits, inspections and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a secure remote‑working environment with reliable internet connectivity.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of U.S. FDA regulations, pharmacovigilance requirements and relevant healthcare compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical terminology clearly and empathetically.
• Demonstrated organizational ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Commitment to safeguarding patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA and the Philippine Data Privacy Act.
• Flexibility to support administrative and business‑related duties as needed.
