Medical Document Specialist (Night Shift)

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a detail‑oriented Medical Document Specialist to join its night‑shift team in Eastwood, Quezon City. You will be the key point of contact for handling incoming medical faxes and ensuring they are correctly attached to patient records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process all incoming faxes, attaching each to the appropriate patient chart.
• Route faxes to the correct staff member or department promptly.
• Locate specific documents or information requested by clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely delivery of documents.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced medical office.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience navigating Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to review, categorize, and route incoming faxes.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and common healthcare documents (referrals, DME orders, home‑health orders, consult reports, medication refill requests, lab and imaging results).
