Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Lycopodium Philippines is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Engineering team in Manila. Reporting to the Lead Mechanical Engineer and General Manager, you will deliver accurate, professional, and compliant design deliverables for a variety of projects across resources, infrastructure, and industrial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering design, calculations, and interdisciplinary coordination of technical aspects.
• Produce detailed engineering lists (equipment, lubrication, spares, valves, pipelines, special items).
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Develop technical documentation, scopes of work, and specifications using industry standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project design criteria.
• Stay updated on industry codes, standards, and project‑specific engineering matters.
• Travel on an ad‑hoc basis as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 3 years of post‑graduate engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
• Solid technical aptitude with analytical and problem‑solving skills.
