Master Planner

About the role

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Master Planner to support its global production operations. The role focuses on ensuring material availability, optimizing inventory, and driving on‑time delivery across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Support production loading and ensure materials are available when needed.
• Optimize inventory levels and manage on‑time delivery of materials.
• Review material requirements and develop delivery plans for suppliers.
• Track and monitor on‑time delivery performance.
• Create and review inventory projections.
• Prepare budget tracking, perform variance analysis, and review actual consumption.
• Develop new material plans to meet production needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent experience.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a semiconductor environment.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to communicate in English.
• Experience with materials planning and problem‑solving.
• Project‑management exposure is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
