Manufacturing Equipment Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair complex machinery and production equipment. The role ensures equipment operates safely, efficiently and in compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions.
• Inspect equipment regularly, identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Repair or replace defective components, parts and assemblies.
• Operate testing and diagnostic tools to evaluate equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and service reports.
• Support production teams by minimizing equipment downtime.
• Assist in equipment installation, setup, commissioning and modifications.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend reliability and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors and other departments to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools and maintenance supplies.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action activities.
• Keep work areas clean and organized following 5S and housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Diploma, Technical Vocational Certificate or Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting or manufacturing (fresh graduates with relevant training may be considered).
• TESDA NC II/NC III certification preferred for manufacturing environments.
