Managing Director – APAC

About the role

Indie Campers, a global leader in road‑trip travel, is seeking a Managing Director for the APAC region. The MD will own the continent’s P&L, drive profitability, operational excellence and strategic expansion across rental, RV sales and servicing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver full continental P&L performance, including revenue, gross margin, EBIT and cash.
• Lead and develop multiple District Managers and regional leaders.
• Oversee financial and operational performance of Rental, RV Sales and Servicing business units.
• Drive growth and sales performance within each business unit.
• Implement operational systems aligned with global guidelines to ensure fleet readiness, customer satisfaction and efficiency.
• Execute global strategic initiatives and expand into new markets.
• Define and enforce operational standards, fleet availability, turnaround discipline and servicing performance.
• Influence fleet rotation, capacity planning and infrastructure decisions.
• Lead budget cycles, forecasting, performance reviews and financial decision‑making.
• Monitor demand, pricing and asset monetisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven strategic leadership and operational mastery at a senior commercial level.
• Experience managing multi‑country businesses with full P&L accountability.
• Ability to build high‑performing regional teams and foster collaboration across markets.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and cost optimisation.
• Track record of driving revenue growth and margin expansion in travel, mobility or related sectors.
