Manager, Indirect Tax Advisory

About the role

Agoda is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join its rapidly growing tax advisory team in Bangkok. You will be responsible for guiding global VAT, GST, sales tax and other indirect tax matters across Agoda’s digital services, working closely with product, commercial, legal and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess Agoda’s indirect tax position and interpret business models for tax implications.
• Analyze VAT, GST and sales‑tax impacts for existing and new products, programs and partnerships.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities, develop practical solutions and drive implementation.
• Lead end‑to‑end tax projects, including scoping, budgeting, execution and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and maintain relationships with senior leadership, sister brands and international offices.
• Proactively shape the long‑term vision of the tax team and share technical expertise across the organization.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in indirect tax advisory for multinational digital businesses.
• Strong understanding of VAT, GST, sales tax regulations and compliance requirements worldwide.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast‑changing, ambiguous environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with senior leaders.
