About the role

Metrobank is offering an accelerated Management Trainee program in Commercial Banking, based in La Union. The program prepares high‑potential talent for future Relationship Manager roles through classroom training, business immersions and cross‑functional rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a holistic understanding of commercial banking and relationship management.
• Gain hands‑on exposure to key banking functions through immersive learning experiences and cross‑functional rotations.
• Participate in structured classroom training covering banking fundamentals.
• Learn directly from seasoned banking professionals and subject matter experts.
• Engage in consultative selling, negotiation and influencing skill development.
• Develop competencies in banking foundations, credit & risk management, holistic banking solutions, and relationship management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accountancy or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial and business information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative and achievement through academic or extracurricular activities.
• Strong interest in commercial banking, credit analysis and relationship management.
• Learning agility, resilience and drive to succeed in a dynamic, high‑performance environment.
