Maintenance Technician

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of small to medium‑sized buildings and industrial systems. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and ensuring building systems run efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, and execute repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, track completion, and support energy management.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Ability to meet physical demands such as stooping, climbing ladders, and lifting 50 lb loads.
• Capability to follow basic work routines, standards, and procedures under supervision.
• Strong communication skills for clear information exchange.
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
