Maintenance Technician – Facilities Management

About the role

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician you will maintain small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems and equipment, supporting the Engineering and Technical Services function.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues and carry out repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, track completion and ensure efficient energy management.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift 50 lb or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Effective communication skills for clear information exchange.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
