Logistics, Sustainment & Procurement Support Specialist

About the role

The Logistics, Sustainment and Procurement Support (LSPS) specialist ensures the efficient flow of materials, equipment, spares and consumables for the BioSHIELD laboratory renovation in the Philippines. Working within Amentum’s ISO‑9001 certified Global Supply Chain Management program and using the AMRO ERP system, the role plans and coordinates procurement, shipping, in‑country transport, warehousing and sustainment activities aligned with project milestones and DTRA reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop procurement statements of work, RFQs and purchase orders based on DTRA‑approved design specifications and log all actions in the AMRO ERP system.
• Solicit, evaluate and negotiate quotations, qualify suppliers, and manage contracts while excluding prohibited entities.
• Plan lead times and delivery schedules within the Integrated Master Schedule, providing real‑time status and risk updates for monthly reports.
• Coordinate customs clearance, import/export and VAT‑exemption documentation with project stakeholders.
• Inspect arrivals, record items in AMRO, manage discrepancies and support LTDD property reporting.
• Maintain logistics and sustainment plans, including transportation, warehousing and secure storage until installation or disposition.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics, procurement or supply chain management for government or defense projects.
• Familiarity with ISO‑9001 quality standards and DTRA reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of Philippine customs regulations, VAT‑exemption processes and import/export compliance.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities to manage complex schedules and documentation.
