Logistics Specialist – Export Operations

About the role

The Logistics Specialist (Export) is responsible for preparing and processing all PEZA and customs documentation required for export shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. This role works closely with planning, customer service, production, quality assurance, freight forwarders, and accounting teams to guarantee timely and efficient movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer shipment plans and coordinate export shipments to meet delivery schedules and compliance requirements.
• Perform data screening and validation for direct‑to‑customer shipments in line with trade regulations.
• Prepare and process export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, gate passes, GSP certificates, and other PEZA/customs forms.
• Support loading activities by conducting PLID scanning and verifying shipment accuracy.
• Book shipments with freight forwarders, provide necessary documents for advance processing, and ensure timely pickup of finished goods.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, trucking providers, and shipping lines to monitor delivery status and update the Export System (Oracle).
• Maintain accurate export records, both electronic and hard copy, and generate logistics and finance reports.
• Communicate shipment notifications and pre‑alerts to customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify data against regulatory requirements.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with multiple internal and external parties.
• Good understanding of international export regulations, PEZA, and customs procedures.
• Ability to manage documentation and maintain accurate records.
