Logistics Security Agent – Cargo Signal

About the role

Join Expeditors’ global Command Center as a Logistics Security Agent focused on cargo signal monitoring. You will provide continuous 24/7/365 coverage to ensure shipments move securely and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor shipment alerts generated by automated systems and classify them by urgency and business impact.
• Engage internal stakeholders, shippers, destinations, and external transportation providers to resolve alerts.
• Proactively track shipments from origin to destination using third‑party platforms and provide real‑time status updates.
• Verify carrier compliance with Service Level Agreements through data visualizations and dashboards.
• Enter shipment information accurately into internal systems and generate post‑shipment, incident, and violation reports.
• Interpret documented customer requirements to meet expectations throughout transit.
• Interact with customers and service providers to address issues and build strong relationships.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and external regulations with integrity.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, 24/7 Command Center environment.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multiple internal and external parties.
• Understanding of logistics processes, shipment tracking, and compliance standards.
• Commitment to follow internal SOPs and external regulatory requirements.
