Logistics Manager – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to own the end‑to‑end movement of every component Jiga produces, from Asian factories to customers worldwide. The role blends operational execution with commercial decision‑making, ensuring shipments are cost‑effective and aligned with sales commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage international freight across air, ocean and courier, primarily from China, Vietnam and India to Israel, the US, the EU and emerging defense‑adjacent lanes.
• Quote, negotiate and book shipments with major express couriers and forwarders, selecting the optimal mode based on time, complexity and customer constraints.
• Recover freight costs from buyers and resolve surcharge disputes, including exchange‑rate, fuel and dimensional weight adjustments.
• Lead the customs and trade‑compliance function: define strategy, create playbooks and guide the Logistics Admin in filings and broker communications.
• Collaborate closely with Sales on commercial calls and with suppliers on physical execution, acting as the bridge between business and operations.

Required profile

• Strong commercial mindset; treats every lane choice and Incoterm as a business decision.
• Hands‑on experience on the factory floor and deep understanding of manufacturing lead times.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly and resolve issues such as customs holds or shipment delays.

Required skills

• HTS classification and customs documentation.
• Freight rate negotiation and cost recovery.
• Knowledge of air, ocean and courier logistics.
