Lifeguard – Health Club & Pool

About the role

The Lifeguard ensures the safety and well‑being of guests using the health club’s pool and recreation areas. Working on‑site, you will monitor water activities, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Observe pool areas from an elevated position or while patrolling the water’s edge.
• Identify and intervene in potential drowning situations quickly.
• Perform rescues, administer first aid, and initiate emergency actions as needed.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations in line with company policies and local laws.
• Maintain pool equipment, clean changing facilities, and restock supplies daily.
• Promote guest recreation activities while ensuring safety remains the top priority.
• Participate in training programs and safety awareness initiatives.
• Follow standard operating procedures and company policies at all times.

Required profile

• Current lifeguard certification and valid first‑aid/CPR training.
• Strong observational skills and ability to act decisively in emergencies.
• Excellent physical fitness, stamina, and endurance.
• Professional demeanor with courteous guest interaction.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
