Legal Counsel – Corporate & Regulatory

About the role

Globe is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across the organization, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks while protecting the company’s interests. The role will work closely with business units to mitigate legal risks and enable smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on contracts, regulatory matters, governance and compliance.
• Develop and manage compliance programs, conduct audits and ensure adherence to applicable laws.
• Oversee litigation and dispute resolution, coordinate with external counsel and devise resolution strategies.
• Maintain corporate governance practices and corporate records.
• Identify legal risks, develop mitigation strategies and support overall risk management.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, representing the company at relevant events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or Juris Doctor) and member in good standing of the Philippine Bar.
• Minimum 5 years of legal practice in a law firm and at least 1 year of in‑house experience.
• Experience at Senior Associate level or equivalent in a law/consulting firm.
• Extensive background in corporate/commercial law and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of real estate, construction, IT, telecommunications, data security and privacy laws.
