Legal Associate – Energy & Regulatory Law

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal Associate to join our Quezon City office, focusing on energy and infrastructure matters. You will work closely with senior partners, gaining hands‑on experience in both regulatory and litigation contexts while contributing to high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, pleadings, legal opinions, and regulatory submissions.
• Conduct legal research and develop strategies for energy‑related cases.
• Handle litigation and appear before courts, regulatory agencies, and quasi‑judicial bodies.
• Represent clients during hearings, meetings, and conferences.
• Advise clients on legal and regulatory issues affecting the energy industry.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications.
• Monitor developments in laws, regulations, and jurisprudence relevant to the energy sector.

Required profile

• Member in good standing of the Philippine Bar.
• At least two (2) years of legal experience in the Philippine energy sector, including regulatory matters, project development, or transactions.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical abilities.
• Experience in litigation, corporate, commercial, or regulatory practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality.
