Legal Advisor

About the role

The Legal Advisor will support the Financial Markets Segment and Institutional Banking Segment by delivering high‑quality, timely legal services focused on regulatory and compliance matters. This role combines deep legal expertise with a strong understanding of business needs and commercial considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice to the Financial Markets and Institutional Banking teams.
• Draft, review, and revise documentation related to derivatives, loan syndication, credit structuring, and collateral management.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with management teams, risk management, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Support risk reporting and contribute to cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Law degree with proven experience in financial services or banking legal advisory.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory environments affecting financial markets and institutional banking.
• Commercially aware with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
