Legal Advisor – Financial Markets & Institutional Banking

About the role

The Legal Advisor will support the Financial Markets Segment (FMS) and Institutional Banking Segment (IBS) by delivering high‑quality, timely regulatory and compliance advice. This position works closely with business units and senior management to ensure legal risks are identified and mitigated.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and draft, revise, and review documentation for derivatives, loan syndication, credit structuring, collateral management, and other banking products.
• Proactively engage with various groups within FMS and IBS to address regulatory and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with the management teams of FMS, IBS, and other stakeholders to align legal solutions with business objectives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant regulations and ensure the organization’s practices remain compliant.

Required profile

• Strong technical legal knowledge combined with commercial awareness.
• Understanding of business requirements, regulatory frameworks, and compliance environments.
• Ability to take primary responsibility for matters while working effectively in cross‑functional teams.
