Learning Facilitator (Remote)

About the role

Magic, a Y Combinator and Sequoia Capital-backed company that connects fast-growing businesses with remote talent, is hiring a full-time, in-house Learning Facilitator based in the Philippines. The role is not freelance and not client-placed; it turns new hires into Executive Assistants (EAs) able to handle US clients. Sessions run live, weekdays, 9 PM to 6 AM PHT, with a fixed schedule from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily live virtual sessions so trainees leave with something usable on a real client task that same night
• Ask guiding questions instead of giving answers, and hold your ground when a trainee looks for the answer
• Score assessments against the rubric and defend the call when it is reviewed
• Stage mock client intro calls and mock interviews, then turn checkpoint scores and session notes into one readiness call per trainee
• Work with the Assistant Training Manager to improve Retool content, role-plays and delivery, shipping at least one improvement per quarter
• Raise performance risks and program gaps early to the Training Supervisor

Required profile

• 1+ year of virtual training experience with a track record you can point to
• 1+ recent year working as a VA/EA with US clients
• Experience running live sessions and mock interviews, and giving structured, constructive feedback
• Understanding of different learning styles and the habit of adjusting mid-session
• Daily, hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, and the ability to teach others to use them
• Comfortable with a fixed overnight (PHT) schedule and fully comfortable working from home with a reliable workspace and 40 Mbps internet

Required skills

• Google Suite, Discord and Slack
• Solid presentation skills in Google Slides, Canva or similar
• Excellent spoken and written English, clear enough to teach EAs working with US clients

What we offer

• Pay of PHP 37,000 to 42,000 gross per month, remote in the Philippines
