Lean Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lean Engineer to drive measurable improvements in quality, safety, delivery and cost within an assigned value stream. The role focuses on applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance production and administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize Value Stream Mapping to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Lead Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma projects to improve quality, safety, delivery and cost.
• Provide project leadership and expertise in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with company objectives and quality standards.
• Mentor small‑group Lean activities and support Lean specialty sub‑committees.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Lean or continuous improvement role.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and systems thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Prior experience with Lean methodologies is advantageous.
