Lead Solution Engineer - Mulesoft

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a motivated Lead Solution Engineer to join its MuleSoft pre‑sales team in the ASEAN region. You will act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating how MuleSoft’s platform modernises IT and drives innovation for prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to qualify opportunities, understand technical requirements and decision‑making processes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, showcasing how MuleSoft can modernise their IT landscape.
• Build strong relationships with client IT staff and C‑level executives to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
• Develop and deliver Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
• Lead architectural discussions and workshops, guiding customers on integration patterns and best practices.

Required profile

• Pre‑sales enterprise software experience with a proven ability to establish trust and influence decision makers.
• Hands‑on experience with middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services, enterprise messaging, APIs, SOA, ESB and BPM.
• Development experience with the ability to code and design APIs.
• Experience with cloud technologies (iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure) – preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, and a passion for translating technology into business impact.
