Lead Analyst – Inventory Release

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Lead Analyst to drive inventory release readiness for SAP S/4HANA deployments across a global MedTech organization. This 24‑month project will involve planning, testing, cut‑over and hyper‑care activities to ensure smooth financial and operational transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end inventory release readiness, including milestone management, risk tracking and issue resolution.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain Operations and IT to design and deploy inventory accounting, valuation, controls and reporting in SAP S/4HANA.
• Support SOX compliance, control execution and audit activities for inventory processes.
• Drive business testing (FIT, BST, UAT) and translate business needs into clear process scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Assist cut‑over planning, data validation, reconciliations and deployment checkpoints.
• Prepare teams for go‑live with training, SOPs, work instructions and act as the SAP S/4HANA inventory SME during hyper‑care.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA inventory modules.
• Experience with inventory accounting, valuation and financial reporting.
• Understanding of SOX controls and audit support.
