Laboratory Analyst

About the role

The Laboratory Analyst ensures precision, reliability, and integrity of laboratory operations by performing routine and advanced testing, maintaining meticulous documentation, and supporting quality assurance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory analyses in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare and manage samples, reagents, and instrumentation required for testing.
• Accurately record and maintain analytical data to ensure traceability and completeness.
• Assist in calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
• Participate in QA/QC programs, including control charting, proficiency testing, and internal audits.
• Collaborate with technical staff on method development, process improvements, and troubleshooting.
• Adhere to safety protocols, manage chemical waste, and maintain a clean, hazard‑free laboratory environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Ability to follow strict protocols with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and quality.
