Junior SOC Incident Responder (L1)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior SOC Incident Responder (L1) to join our security operations team. In this entry‑level position you will help monitor security alerts, support incident response activities and ensure the health of our security sensors and endpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor alert queues and verify the functionality of security sensors and endpoints.
• Gather and analyse relevant data to support incident response investigations.
• Maintain endpoint security controls, update software versions and coordinate patching with Technology Management.
• Create and manage incident tickets, providing timely updates and thorough documentation.
• Escalate actionable security incidents to SOC Specialist Level 2 for deeper analysis.
• Continuously monitor affected resources before, during, and after changes to ensure stability and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Studies, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and effective time‑management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+, or EC‑Council CEH are a plus.
