Junior IT Support Specialist

About the role

Temenos is looking for a Junior IT Support Specialist to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to internal users worldwide. You will help keep the company’s IT environment running smoothly by resolving issues, supporting hardware, and ensuring a positive user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Log and manage support requests via phone, email, ticketing system, MS Teams or remote desktop tools.
• Provide first‑line troubleshooting for account access, software errors, basic network problems, and hardware issues.
• Escalate tickets to senior staff or vendors when necessary and follow ITIL‑based processes.
• Communicate known outages or incidents to affected users and send general alerts.
• Assist with setup, installation, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Update the IT knowledge base with solutions to common problems.
• Track and maintain inventory of IT assets and support office IT setups such as meeting rooms and hot desks.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field is an asset.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows operating system.
• Microsoft Office 365 suite.
• macOS familiarity.
• Active Directory and Exchange basics.
• Experience with ticketing tools such as ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus or ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with MS Teams and remote desktop utilities.
• Hardware setup and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
