Junior High School Teacher

About the role

The Junior High School Teacher will guide students in their search for truth and knowledge, delivering the instructional program with flexibility and care. This role involves planning lessons, assessing progress, and fostering a supportive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit lesson plans using the prescribed format.
• Deliver daily lessons to assigned classes, adapting as needed.
• Evaluate student progress through quizzes, tests, exams, and other assessments.
• Provide timely feedback on student performance.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Conduct conferences with students and parents and be available for consultations.
• Participate in year‑level, subject‑area, and faculty meetings, as well as school events.
• Serve as exam proctor and substitute for absent teachers when required.
• Implement classroom management routines and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the school administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or college degree with a professional license in Secondary Education, or equivalent.
• At least one year of teaching experience in secondary education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a warm personality and flexible attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite) applications.
