Junior Commission Statement Accountant (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Commission Statement Accountant to own the end‑to‑end commission process for a fast‑growing voice AI company. This fully remote, freelance position ensures sales commissions are accurate, auditable, and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and reconcile transactional booking data from HubSpot, cross‑checking against source records.
• Prepare and audit commission statements, ensuring calculations follow plan rules.
• Investigate and resolve commission disputes, providing clear documentation to sales reps.
• Document edge cases, maintain SOPs, and build reconciliation trackers in Google Sheets.
• Collaborate with Finance, RevOps, and Sales to align on commission logic and timing, leveraging AI tools where possible.
• Support ad‑hoc reporting and analysis requests.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, revenue operations, or commission statement preparation.
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and reconciliation workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM reporting tool.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a solid auditing mindset.
