Junior Bookkeeper

About the role

Eightx provides fractional CFO and bookkeeping services to fast‑growing eCommerce brands and agencies across North America and the UK. As a Junior Bookkeeper you will support clients so they can focus on scaling their businesses while enjoying a better work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks for multiple eCommerce clients.
• Enter and reconcile financial data using a variety of platforms.
• Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month‑end close.
• Maintain accurate records in systems such as Netsuite, QuickBooks Online, Xero and others.
• Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure compliance with US/Canadian GAAP.

Required profile

• Fresh graduates are welcome; 1‑2 years of accounting experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data entry and basic accounting software.
• Experience or familiarity with Netsuite, Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Hubdoc, Dext, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Glew.io, Amazon Seller/Vendor, Rippling, Gusto and Bill.com.
