Junior Auditor

About the role

The Junior Auditor will support De La Salle University’s internal audit function by performing surprise and periodic audits of financial records and university projects. This role ensures that financial information is accurate, compliant with policies, and that internal controls are effective.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct surprise or scheduled audits of financial records and project accounts.
• Perform operational audits, process reviews, and internal control assessments.
• Gather and analyse evidence of policy breaches, fraud, or regulatory violations.
• Prepare clear audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with finance, project, and administrative teams to address audit issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Auditing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant audit or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple audit assignments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate level).
