Junior Accountant – Retail & Inventory Focus

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Junior Accountant with strong retail and inventory expertise to drive improvements in our accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness. The role will start with an onsite onboarding period before transitioning to a remote work arrangement, supporting the finance team across multiple branches.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Lead ERP and process improvement initiatives, including implementation and migration projects.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross‑functional teams to provide actionable insights.
• Oversee operational accounting functions such as multi‑entity reconciliations and payroll timing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or multi‑branch environments.
• Proven experience preparing audit‑ready financial statements and supporting external audits.
• Ability to design and document SOPs for accounting workflows.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and compliance frameworks.
