Jr. IT Officer

About the role

CIIT aims to revolutionize Philippine education by combining industry‑based, student‑centered learning with affordability. As a Junior IT Officer you will help bridge the skill gap between education and industry, supporting the team’s innovative initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 technical support for hardware, software, network, connectivity, login, and printer issues.
• Receive, troubleshoot, document, and resolve user concerns via ticketing system, email, or phone.
• Set up workstations, user accounts, and basic system configurations for end users.
• Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to higher‑level support teams.
• Maintain complete and accurate ticket records, including incidents, requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Assist with IT asset inventory, tagging, monitoring, and updating equipment records.
• Perform routine IT maintenance and system checks to ensure operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; fresh graduates welcome.
• 0–1 year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, and internet connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for login/access, hardware, software, printer, and network issues.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice or Zendesk) is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills with attention to documentation.
