IT Technician – Remote (Philippines)

About the role

The IT Technician will provide technical support and operational IT services for PSC Biotech’s global workforce. This remote position is based in the Philippines and works on a 3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. EST schedule, supporting infrastructure, hardware, software, networking and the rollout of approved AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced technical support for servers, networks, endpoints, applications and enterprise systems, acting as an escalation point for complex incidents.
• Administer Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, Group Policy and identity‑management services.
• Maintain network infrastructure (switches, wireless, VPN, structured cabling) and perform vulnerability remediation, patch management and endpoint security monitoring.
• Support GDPR, GxP, FDA and internal information‑security compliance, including audit preparation, change‑control documentation and validation activities.
• Assist with the deployment, governance and user enablement of AI‑enabled productivity platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot.
• Create and keep SOPs, technical documentation, asset inventories and performance dashboards, and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in infrastructure, cloud and technology implementation projects, coordinating with vendors and contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in IT support, systems administration and infrastructure operations.
• Strong background with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID and networking technologies.
• Practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management and data‑privacy regulations (GDPR).
• Interest and aptitude for AI, automation and emerging technologies.
• Experience in regulated environments (pharma, biotech, healthcare) is preferred.
