IT Security Engineer

About the role

The IT Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain robust security strategies to protect the organization’s digital assets. Working closely with internal teams and external SOC providers, this role ensures that network, infrastructure, and emerging AI environments remain secure against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of comprehensive security strategies for the organization’s digital infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external SOC providers to manage security risks.
• Enforce BYOD policies and monitor emerging threats across network, infrastructure, and AI domains.
• Lead incident response activities, including detection, containment, and remediation.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing (VAPT) to identify and mitigate weaknesses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT or related fields.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCNA, ITIL, SANS, etc., are preferred.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and AI security considerations.
• Experience with risk assessment, mitigation, and incident response.
• Ability to develop and enforce security policies.
