IT Risk & PCI Compliance Manager (Night Shift, Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a PCI Compliance & IT Risk Manager to lead our compliance and risk team within a global payments organization. The role combines people leadership with hands‑on responsibility for payment security, technology risk, and regulatory governance, operating on a night‑shift schedule with flexible remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day‑to‑day activities of the PCI Compliance and IT Risk Management team, including coaching, performance management and workload planning.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for PCI DSS and payment security, monitoring regulatory changes and guiding business units to meet Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover requirements.
• Conduct technology and cybersecurity risk assessments, control reviews and remediation planning across systems and initiatives.
• Partner with Technology, Information Security, Legal, Compliance and Operations to align solutions with risk and governance frameworks, and communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, Risk Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in PCI compliance, IT risk management or information security, with at least 2 years of people‑management experience.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, control reviews and support audit or compliance activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the capacity to work in a global, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of PCI DSS and payment‑card industry standards.
• Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and COBIT.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PCI‑P, CRISC, Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
