IT Risk Governance & Oversight Specialist

About the role

Manulife Global Solutions is looking for an IT Risk Governance & Oversight Specialist to join its Global Tech team. You will support the Information Risk Management team in governance, key risk indicators, vulnerability management, process oversight and strategic change initiatives. The role combines information risk knowledge with analytical, reporting and stakeholder-management skills, and involves interpreting enterprise standards, organizing data from multiple sources and building dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, from data preparation and modelling to user-ready reporting.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc management reports on KRIs, remediation plans, compliance status, aging items, exceptions and trends.
• Collect, reconcile, validate and organize data from multiple sources, and analyze it to spot trends, anomalies, root causes and control gaps.
• Monitor reporting calendars, deadlines and data dependencies, and follow up with business units, control owners and technology teams.
• Translate findings into dashboards, presentations and executive summaries, and document reporting logic and metric definitions for audit readiness.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and workflows, including the responsible use of AI.
• Support vulnerability-management, process-governance and change-related reporting, and guide stakeholders on reporting requirements and evidence.

Required profile

• Demonstrated hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards from scratch.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas and lookups.
• Experience producing recurring reports or dashboards and managing reporting deadlines and stakeholder follow-up.
• Ability to work independently, judge accurately, and collaborate in a global team.
• Interest in automation and the responsible use of AI.
• Proficiency in English, verbal and written.
• Amenable to a hybrid setup (3 days onsite) in Quezon City and to any shift schedule, including night shifts.
