IT Project Manager

About the role

The IT Project Manager will lead technology initiatives that support core business objectives. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while coordinating cross‑functional teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage one major project or multiple minor projects from initiation through closure.
• Develop and maintain technical and business processes to meet requirements cost‑effectively and within defined targets.
• Define project team roles, set performance objectives, provide coaching, and monitor performance.
• Coordinate communication among stakeholders, vendors, and third‑party partners.
• Escalate and resolve project issues, keeping the team informed of overall status.
• Gather and assess business requirements, establishing feasibility, timelines, and effort estimates.
• Conduct project reviews to ensure quality, adherence to standards, and compliance with MLPP regulations.
• Allocate resources to address production problems and ad‑hoc requests.
• Maintain expertise in assigned business domains and related technologies.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Four‑year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in application systems design, analysis, development, and maintenance involving mainframe, midrange, and microcomputer environments.
• Experience in banking operations is preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and manage business and technical processes to meet project goals.
• Demonstrated skill in handling project resources to achieve objectives.
