IT Project Manager (Automotive Systems)

About the role

The IT Project Manager will lead the full lifecycle implementation of a new importer‑dealer management system for an automotive business while ensuring the ongoing stability of SAP Business One. This role combines strategic planning, vendor coordination, and hands‑on technical oversight to deliver a solution that meets both business and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and control the end‑to‑end implementation of the importer‑dealer management system.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Maintain SAP Business One stability and support throughout the project.
• Coordinate business users, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Design business processes, configure the system, integrate APIs, and oversee data migration.
• Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
• Ensure compliance with tax, accounting, and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management and drive continuous improvements after launch.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of ERP or Dealer Management System implementation experience, including at least 3 years in project management.
• Experience with SAP Business One implementation, support or migration.
• Knowledge of automotive importer/dealer operations (inventory, parts, service, warranty) is essential.
• Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations and IFRS is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel as required.
